Notes "The optical arrangement of the magic lantern used in this exhibition far surpasses any ever brought before the public in point of size and power. It is accommodated with two six inch condensing lenses, with silver-plated parabolic reflectors. The paintings are large and beautifully colored, and when exposed in the camera, the figures of persons and animals are made to appear as large as life."
