Description
Drawing depicting the house originally built by John Wister as a farm house in 1743 on Main Street (ie. Germantown Avenue) and Fisher's Lane, Germantown, Pa. Shows the front facade of the two-story house with dormers. A wooden fence surrounds the property. Trees grow along the sidewalk, which extends in front of the house. An adjacent house is visible in the right. Charles J. Wister, the grandson of John Wister, called the house the "Castle of Rosenheim."
