Lantern slide showing a view of Old Friend's Meeting House in Manasquan, N.J., a small one-story building with shuttered windows and wooden shingles. Scrubby foliage grows in front of the meeting house and trees grow behind. A wooden fence extends from the left side of the meeting house in front of a garden. The Manasquan Friends Meeting House was built circa 1730. Originally a two-story structure, it was remodeled into a one-story building in 1812 after storm damage in 1808. The original Meeting House was sold in 1885 and a new building built a year later.
