Description
Glass negative showing a garden at Par-la-Ville with a path surrounded by trees and other foliage. Marriott C. Morris' distant cousin Jason E. Perot, a man with a beard and a bowler hat, stands to the left of the path. Par-la-Ville was built for William B. Perot, Bermuda’s first postmaster, in 1814. The grounds became a national park, renamed Queen Elizabeth Park, while the house became the home of the Bermuda National Library and Bermuda Historical Society Museum.
