Description Glass negative showing Anna Sharpless, Lena Goodwin, Marriott Morris' third cousin George Vaux Jr., his sister Elizabeth Canby Morris, and mother Martha Canby Morris seated on the grass at the base of the Navesink Light Station. A picnic basket, bottles, books, and two cameras surround thr group. The women wear high-necked dresses and hats while Vaux wears a white shirt with a cravat.

The emulsion is peeling on the lower edge of the plate and a circular piece of emulsion is missing on the left side.
