Description
Film negative showing a horse-drawn carriage surrounded by onlookers at the Manheim Fete. A man with a tri-corner hat sits on the carriage holding the reins. Three children sit next to him. Another man wearing an apron stands in front of the side of the carriage. Three boys, their faces possibly darkend with makeup and holding brushes and brooms, stand around him. The Manheim Club, later known as the Germantown Cricket Club, was founded in 1854 and is the second oldest surviving cricket club in the United States. The 1912 Fete was celebrated for the benefit of the Germantown Hospital.
