View looking north/northeast from the vicinity of 34th Street and Civic Center Boulevard and shows Franklin Field before it was reconstructed in the early 1920s. The Penn Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology, adjacent railroad yards and residential row homes are all visible, as are bridges across the Schuylkill going to Center City Philadelphia.
