Description
Depicts a brick row of shops along the 4300 block of Main Street, decorated with flags and patriotic bunting. Awnings cover the first floor shop windows of businesses like Jos. H. Maurer's Hardware store (4345 Main Street), and a florist shop several units to the north. Pedestrians crowd the sidewalk, especially further north near Levering Street. Depicts the block during the Manayunk Carnival and Parade, an event held from November 8 to 13, 1909, to celebrate the formation of the Manayunk Business Men's Association.
