Description |
Depicts the British island conquered from Spain in 1797, settled in the 1780s by French Caribbean plantation owners, St. Domingo
refugees, and enslaved people. Shows the sites of the sugar, coffee, cotton, and cocoa plantations in the southwest and southeast
regions of the island.
