Star of hope to the benighted, First to greet the wanderer's eye: Joy in hearts hath oft been lighted, When thy beams shone on the sky! Harbinger that bliss is coming, Glimmer by the dark blue sea! And upon the ocean roaming, I will sing in praise of thee!
