Description View of ivy-covered facade of John Bartram's residence with two women sitting on bench near door. Some outbuildings and vegetation also visible. Botanist and farmer John Bartram built residence in 1730-1731. Altered in 1770, the residence deteriorated throughout the 19th century, but was restored in the 1920s by the John Bartram Association.
