Description
Colorful architectural rendering of a wall in the House of Representatives chamber in the Capitol building. Includes pairs of Corinthian columns spaced between each tall window, capped by the entablature and ocular stained glass windows near the ceiling.

Title supplied by cataloguer.
Huston was commissioned to design the Capitol, constructed between 1902 and 1906 to house the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the chambers of the Sumpreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the offices of the Governor.
Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Maro S. Hunting. Mrs. Hunting was the granddaughter of Joseph M. Huston, the architect of the Capitol.
