Charles Angeroth was authorized in Oct. 1861 to raise a battalion of heavy artillery; the 112th Regiment, 2nd Artillery of
the Pennsylvania Volunteers, was mustered in Jan. 8, 1862 and mustered out Jan. 29, 1866; Angeroth was discharged June 21,
