Submit to the Rebels, let them close the Mississippi River, blockade the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay, divide the United States east and west by the Ohio River, pursue their run-away slaves through the remaining states with force and arms, and finally, let us beg them to permit us to remain in our homes as long as it seems good to them. ...
