Cut the lining three-quarters of an inch larger than the outside all round, turn over and stich through, over seam the backs together and sew to the soles--round them out a little to shape the heel, stitch it each side of the seam to the sole flaps which are turned up at the heel. Old material of any color or pattern that will make a warm slipper will answer. ... The patterns and directions furnished gratis by Henry C.
