Description
Photographic reproduction of a racist woodcut caricature showing Abraham Lincoln wearing a naked African American shaped as a stovepipe hat. Contains photographic reproduction of several lines of verse in English and German on verso: A goodly difference does exist; Among the party that did call; There is among them many a [one?]; Conservative and true at heart; But there are others [who insist?]; The white man's freedom would deny; To place them on an equal footing; No matter what the cost may be; Something is for the negro done; The negro on the brain.
