Combination will have the honor of making their first appearance this evening. The manager begs to inform the public that
the entertainment given will be of the highest moral character, chaste, elegant and instructive Every attention will be paid
to scenery and costume and with the advantage of an excellent selection of pieces from the best authors of tragedy, comedy
and farce it is calculated to give entire satisfaction to all classes. ... Monday evening, April 18th, 1864 will be presented
the beautiful domestic drama of Grand-father Whitehead! ... The evening's entertainment will conclude with the great nautical
drama of Black-eyed susan or, "All in the downs." ... A splendid bill for Tuesday The beautiful drama of Aline is in rehearsal
Also, the most successful moral play of the day, acted above four hundred nights in the United States and Europe, with unprecedented
success, entitled The ticket-of-leave man!! Price of admission, 25 cents Reserved seats, secured during the day at the hall,
fifty cents. Doors open quarter past 7 o'clock. Curtain rises quarter of 8
