Illustration: color lithograph of the crest of the Yale "Cochlearureati," with an arm holding a wooden spoon above a shield, which has crossed wooden spoons in the upper left quarter and an upside down Phi Beta Kappa key in the lower right. The words "Super Sinistram Lugemus [We feel bad over the left]" written diagonally across the shield in a blue sash. "Honi soit qui mal y pense [Shame upon him who thinks evil of it]" written on either side of shield and "In hoc signo vinces [In this sign you will conquer]" underneath.
