The stereopticon is a new and powerful apparatus, which re-produces transparent photographs with all the effect of the stereoscope, magnified 24 feet in diameter, upon an illuminated canvas, covering 600 square feet, ... This evening will be presented--(selected from the following list,) gigantic stereoscopic pictures representing the most celebrated views and objects of the Old World and New: ... Whipple's celebrated photograph of the moon, ... Each evening will be presented a number of interesting local views: ... Pictures will be described by a gentleman of well known literary and artistic abilities. Doors open at quarter-past 7 o'clock. Exhibition to commence at 8. A change of views each evening.
