A new series of these grand and intellectual entertainments, which surpass anything hitherto presented to the public, will be given, commencing Monday evening, Feb. 4th, and continue for two weeks only. The stereopticon is a new and powerful apparatus, which re-produces transparent photographs with all the effect of the stereoscope, magnified 24 feet in diameter, upon an illuminated canvas, covering 600 square feet, ... This evening will be presented--(selected from the following list,) gigantic stereoscopic pictures representing the most celebrated views and objects of the Old World and New: ... Whipple's celebrated photograph of the moon, ... Each evening will be presented a number of interesting local views: ...
