Proprietor and manager, Mr. Joseph Verey. This splendid series of panoramic paintings was exhibited at Concert Hall, Philadelphia, for seven successive weeks, during which time it was visited by all classes of citizens, editors, clergymen, lawyers, physicians, merchants, manufacturers and artisans, and received from every one the most unqualified approval. The last week it was exhibited to more than 4000 people. This splendid series of more than one hundred grand panoramic paintings was executed by Mr. George Wunderlich an American artist, ... The object aimed at in this noble series of paintings, is to exhibit vice in its deformed and hurtful character, and virtue as full of attractions and beautiful ... Music and singing during the evening ... Admission, 25 cents. Children, 15 cents Soldiers, half-price. Liberal arrangements made with schools. Doors open at 7, and pictures move at half-past 7 o'clock. A matinee on Wednesday and Saturday, at 3 o'clock--Children, 10 cents.
