Description Glass negative showing Sallie Emlen, John Cope, and Pattie and Gertrude Mellor standing on a tennis court at Sea Girt, N.J. and holding racquets in position for a doubles game. Two of the women stand on the near side of the net wearing hats and white dresses. Cope and the other woman stand on the far side. Cope wears a light-colored shirt, trousers, vest, and hat. The other woman wears a white skirt and dark blouse and hat. The grassy court is surrounded by trees.
