Notes The 16th Cavalry, 161st Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteers, under the command of Col. J. I. Gregg until Aug. 1864, was organized in the summer and fall of 1862 and mustered out in Aug. 7, 1865; Nathan S. Hill and Archer N. Martin both served in Company I; Lieut.
