Description Genre scene satirizing the "new woman" and the role of women in the home. Shows the lady of the house dressed in bicycle garb with her bicycle at her side pointing her finger and instructing her husband on how to do the laundry. The husband stands in front of the wash tub, article of clothing in hand, with dirty laundry piled in the baby's cradle next to him.
