Businesses include: Du Hadway & Dodson, cloths, cassimeres, and vestings (Market and Second); the second of two stores of Edward T. Steele & Co., cloths and cassimeres (4 North 2nd); Bartram, cloths and cassimeres (8 North 2nd); Holland & Develin, confectioners (14 North 2nd); and F.D. Kramer & Co., furniture (36 North 2nd). Several men stand in front of Du Hadway & Dodson near a telegraph pole and merchandise displays.
