Description
View of a train going around the Horseshoe Curve on a double set of railroad tracks. A steep embankment drops down from either side of the tracks and a forested mountain rises up in the background. The Horseshoe Curve opened to train traffic on February 15, 1854 and allowed trains to travel over Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains.
