Description
View showing two men and a horse-drawn tank wagon transporting oil between Millerstown and Pittsburgh stopped in front of a passing West Penn Rail Road locomotive. The tank wagon rests on a platform leading to railroad tracks near a sign inscribed, "Look out for the locomotive." Another tank wagon turns at a fork in the road in the distance. Also includes a residence in the background. Clothes drying on a clothesline in the backyard of the residence are visible. Oil tank wagons were used following the continual destruction of pipe lines by Pennsylvania Railroad Company workers.
