Description View showing Lansdowne Avenue in West Fairmount Park under the old Girard Avenue Bridge. The bridge, completed at the Schuylkill River in 1855, was razed circa 1871 and replaced by the new Girard Avenue Bridge. Shows a horse-drawn carriage traveling on Lansdowne under an arch of the bridge. Also shows the New York Connecting Railway Bridge, completed in 1867, in the background.
