Description
View showing the Wissahickon Creek hostelry, reconstructed out of the log cabin built during William Henry Harrison's 1840 presidential campaign, operated by Tommy Llewellyn. The hotel, containing a dining room, drinking room, and ladies saloon, also displayed wildlife as a novelty attraction. A white woman and an African American man with a horse stand in front of the hotel. The creek is visible in the foreground. The hotel was razed in 1872.
