Description
Stereograph depicting an African American mother seated on the porch steps and nursing her baby. The woman, wearing her hair tied up in braids and attired in a polka-dotted shirt and a checked skirt, cradles an infant on her lap as it suckles on her breast. Seated in the right, the African American man, attired in a hat, a long-sleeved white shirt, a ring, and pants, looks over at the mother and child. On the porch is a wooden chair beside the closed door.
