Description
Illustrated trade card depicting an oblique view of the exhibition hall, also known as the Art Gallery, built 1874-1876 after designs by Hermann J. Schwarzmann. The fair celebrated the centennial of the United States through an international exhibition of industry, agriculture, and art. The Friends' Book Association was established in 1873 and ceased operations in 1908.
