Description |
Billhead and letterhead containing ornate lettering, pictorial and ornamental details, and a vignette view of the building
of the firm established in 1847. Views show the three-story building adorned in signage and an American flag and with medicine
bottles visible in the display windows. Also shows street and pedestrian traffic, including horse-drawn wagons and an omnibus.
Omnibus in letterhead vignette marked 'Horse Head." Details include flowers, filigree, and a mortar and pestle. Gerity brothers,
the firm originally operated by William S. Gerity (d. 1912) and Clayton R. Gerity (d.1897), was active until 1910.
