Description
Trade card issued for the world's fair held in Buffalo, N.Y., May 1-November 2, 1901 depicting the Ethnology Building built after the designs of George Cary. Shows fair visitors entering the classical-style building adorned with Renaissance decorative treatment, which housed ethnographic and archaeological exhibits of the Niagara area. Lewis Gibb and John Bucher formed Bucher & Gibbs in 1870.

Illustration depicts a scene between a Butcher & Gibbs agent, with a plow, and a farmer declaring "The Imperial is the Best Plow in the World" surrounded by vignettes depicting a disc harrow, spring tooth harrow, spike tooth harrow, and one horse cultivator.
