Description
Bust-length portrait of the white Philadelphia physician, medical school professor, and a president of the Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Society. Wistar is depicted sitting in a chair and is attired in a shirt with a ruffled collar and double-breasted jacket.

Probably by C. Goodman & R. Piggot after painter Bass Otis.
Originally part of a McAllister scrapbook of portraits.
