Description
Depicts the Old Log Cabin Hotel along the Wissahickon Creek in 1874. The Wissahickon Creek hostelry was reconstructed out of the log cabin built during William Henry Harrison's 1840 presidential campaign. Also includes views of the hotel's dining room, drinking room, ladies saloon and ice cream shop. A man stands in front of the hotel and two people walk along the path from the horse stables to the hotel. In the foreground, the creek and a small boat is visible. The hotel was razed in 1872.
