Shows nine women, attired in dresses, sitting and standing on the rocks around the pond and on the incline leading up to the stone wall. The garden, built in 1936 at the bequest of Fairmount Park Commission board member Colonel Robert Glendinning and his wife Elizabeth, is one of the most unusual in the country containing an atypical variety of species of shrubs, herbs, and trees.
