Description Depicts the front facade of the Market Street Ferry terminal at the foot of Market Street at Delaware Avenue. Carriages, trolleys, and pedestrians crowd the street and sidewalks. The Market Street Ferry was established about 1800 and was a principal form of transportation from Philadelphia to Camden, New Jersey through the early 20th century.
