Description Group portrait showing three boys sitting on the wooden steps of a corner house in Philadelphia. The boys all wear dark trousers, light colored shirts and workmen's caps. The peaks of the caps shade their eyes giving them a threatening look. There is a small paper tablet, or perhaps a box of cards, on one of the steps. In the background a woman pushing a baby carriage in the street is visible.

Biographical / historical note Keith was a Philadelphia photographer who specialized in portraiture, mainly of working-class Philadelphians in South Philadelphia and Kensington from the 1910s to the 1940s.
