Description
Aerial view of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, a Catholic school for women founded in 1858 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph. Around 1924 the campus became the site for Mount Saint Joseph College (later renamed Chestnut Hill College), also founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph to educate women. In 1961 the academy relocated to Flourtown, Pennsylvania.
