Description
Aerial view of the reception honoring Charles Lindbergh at Municipal Stadium, later known as John F. Kennedy Stadium, in 1927. Lindbergh's nationwide tour celebrated his successful first trans-Atlantic flight. People seated in the stands. Area immediately surrounding the stadium is also visible. Stadium was designed by the Philadelphia firm Simon & Simon. Located at 3601 Broad Street in South Philadelphia.
