Description
Aerial views of the Municipal Auditorium under construction. The facility was also known as Convention Hall and later as Civic Center Auditorium. The building was designed in the Art Deco style by the architect Philip H. Johnson and was demolished in 2005. View is facing northwest and shows the structure about 50 percent complete, with portions of the University of Pennsylvania campus visible in the distance.
