Description
Advertisement containing a whimsical view of the shoe oil produced by the Phoenix Oil Company at Front and Market Streets. Shows shoeshine boys admiring a life-size corked bottle of the oil. A shoe-shine box, brush, buffer, and a bottle of the oil rest at their feet. Behind the boys, the heads of clamoring men, and individuals, including a couple with an umbrella, walking in the rain are visible. The scene is framed with a large red circle containing advertising text. Other pictorial elements include a branch of blossoms and a medallion with advertising text.
