Description Advertisement showing the very busy four-and-a-half story hotel opened in 1807 on Third Street below Arch Street. Several male guests sit, stand, and put their feet up on the porch of the hotel that is covered by an awning. Also shows guests at the first and second floor windows and a couple strolling on the sidewalk. The hotel closed soon before the Civil War.
