Description View of the hand-powered Philadelphia-style fire engine that performed a pumping demonstration at the Jayne office building at Chestnut Street below Third Street. Contains double decker end-stroke hand pumpers. A trumpet hangs from one of the pumper levers. Also adorned with a panel decorated with an allegorical figure representing "Diligence."
