Description
View of the first Moravian church building in Philadephia built 1742-1743 for the followers of Count Zinzendorf, a Bishop of the Moravian Church. Shows the hip-roof building with a front yard containing a path and a white picket fence in the background. Also shows a partial view of a nearby building. The church building, which was expanded and a parsonnage added, housed the congregation until 1819 and the erection of a new sanctuary.
