3 prints: lithograph, tinted with two stones; 34 x 102 cm. (13.25 x 40 in.) or smaller.
Description
Near life-size depiction of the belt made from oyster-shell beads and leather that purportedly the Delaware Indians gave to William Penn at the signing of the treaty. The belt was given by Penn's great-grandson to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in 1857.
