Description View of the steam engine of the hose company instituted in 1856 that operated from Park Street above Market Street. Engine contains the makers' plate for Reaney, Neafie & Co. and the name plate of the fire company. Plates obscured by mechanisms on the engines. Engine includes compressor gauges, handles, and lanterns. Also contains a border with geometric details.
