Description
Racing print showing the jockeyed horses on the race track at Nicetown Lane and Old York Road in North Philadelphia. The eight-year old strawberry roan Tacony takes the lead over Mac. The jockeys wear a red cap and vest (Tacony) and a green cap and jacket (Mac). A barn, exercise yard, and residential building are visible in the background. The Hunting Park Association which sponsored races for the encouragement of the breeding of fine horses was established in 1828.
