View of the brick rowhouses also known as Portico Row built 1833-1835 after the designs of Thomas U. Walter at 900-930 Spruce
Street. Tenants of the row included the Philadelphia High School for Young Ladies (1836-1841), commodore Isaac Hull (1842-1843),
and author Sarah Josepha Hale (1859-1861). Also shows surrounding dwellings north and south of Spruce Street.
