Description
Advertises Kollner as a painter of portraits of "ladies and gentlemen on horseback" and "horses, correct and in every possition [sic]." Reflects Kollner's failed attempt to establish himself as an equestrian portrait painter upon his arrival in Philadelphia. Soon after this advertisement was issued, Kollner was hired by Duval to create lithographic portraits of military personnel, many on horseback, for the U.S. Military Magazine.
