Description
Depicts Benjamin Franklin during his kite experiment in a meadow near a dwelling in Philadelphia in 1752. Shows Franklin holding the string of the kite on which a key is tied. His twenty-one year old son, William, anachronistically shown as a boy, assists him. A lightening bolt crosses the sky.
